Packaged/Boxed Mixes

Namaste Foods Brownie Mix makes the best gluten-free brownies at home. Rich, moist and gooey! They use rich Dutch cocoa so that you don't taste the rice flour as you do in many gluten-free desserts. Definitely a keeper!

$8 on Amazon or local natural foods store

These dessert and pancake mixes are a gluten-intolerant haven. They're super convenient to have laying in the pantry for a sweet fixin'! Just like regular cake mixes, whisk a few ingredients, pop it in the oven and done. Even my frozen-food, take-out eating boyfriend can do this with much success!

$8/box on Amazon or in local grocery store

Carbs- Bread and Pasta

There's nothing I crave more than bread and pasta because almost all comfort food require some kind of hearty carb. With these, I'm able to enjoy sandwiches and burgers and all types of spaghetti!

Grilled up a burger yesterday with these buns! My bf had one too and he said he couldn't really taste the difference. They're not as moist as regular buns and they toast much quicker on the grill. $5 for a pack of 4 at Whole Foods. Dairy free and nut free.

Udi's is my favorite! This bread allows sandwiches in my diet which is so convenient. Just like the buns, these slices aren't as moist as regular bread, but very do-able. I eat toast and sandwiches all the time now. $5 at Whole Foods. Dairy free and nut free.

The texture of this brown rice pasta is ok when the noodles are warm, however if cold they become tough but reheating always does the trick. They definitely don't have the same "bouncy" texture as regular pasta so just don't overcook . Less than $5 at Whole Foods. Dairy free and nut free.

Delicious Desserts!

Try being a foodie when you have severe diet restrictions. I can't have wheat or nuts due to allergies and can't have dairy due to lactose-intolerance. Eating and enjoying eating became really difficult and scoping out all the gluten-free, nut-free, and dairy free goodies became an all-time job. Shopping for groceries is a time-consuming task so I thought, why not share all my favorite finds with everyone that have the same restrictions?

Enjoy!

These are the best gluten-free cupcakes! They trump "gourmet" cupcakes from bakeries. They are moist and not chewy like other gluten-free cupcakes. $5 for 4 cakes. Dairy free (take off frosting) and nut free.
So far, one of the best dairy-free ice creams! It's hard to tell that it's made from soy because it's really creamy. Less than $5. Gluten free and nut free.
The best gluten-free cookie!! I usually get chocolate chip because I'm allergic to oats as well (bought this for a friend). Udi's cookies are so soft and tastes like normal cookies. $6 per container at Whole Foods. Dairy free and nut free.
